This Primer was written by Sarah Smith as she taught the first four Smith children Hebrew. It was designed for elementary-age children, though even adults might find it a good source for learning the Hebrew letters and the beginning mechanics of the language. It is intended to help those without prior knowledge of Hebrew, and walks the teacher and learner slowly and clearly through the beginning of their Hebrew journey.
Every lesson has a Reading and a Writing page, and is heavily focused on vocabulary memorization, with generally three new words to learn per lesson. The worksheets are found in the Student Manual, with answer keys, grammatical information, and other teaching help in a separate Teacher’s Manual.
You may purchase a hard copy by following the link at the bottom of the page. We also offer a PDF version, for sale in our Shop.
